We had a fantastic turnout at Lucaston Park Orchards for the National Cherry Growers Conference 2024! The day began with a welcome BBQ hosted by Muirs, followed by an insightful orchard tour.
Andrew Griggs of Lucaston Park Orchards shared how cherry production has positively impacted his business. Robert Salmon, our Tasmanian Regional Business Manager, discussed the transition from Serve-Ag to Muirs, as attendees enjoyed a hearty breakfast.
The tour continued with Sam Smee, Muirs' Agronomist and Crop Lead for Pome and Stone, who provided practical tips on crop nutrition and emphasized the importance of post-harvest calcium application for better fruit quality next season.
